We have the ideal trip for everybody… since an easy walk trough river Jalpan or the cave of Got (in the village or Rio Adentro) until the trekking to cueva del agua (the water cave) or a descent to “El Crater” in Tancoyol
Each site in Sierra Gorda offers a different landscape, so in every trip you could do a different route.

For enjoying Nature and practice wildlife watching we recommend you to visit the Jalpan Dam, this place was added to the Ramsar List in 2004, here you can watch birds, small mammals and the most representative fauna of this region.
Also in each eco-champ you can ask for the different options and interpretative trails of the place, each eco-champ is located strategically in an ideal place for wildlife watching, trekking or stars watching, you can stay at them for weeks without walk twice for the same route.
Fishing, boats and kayak
Apart of being an excellent place for bird watching, the Dam is also the perfect place for sport fishing.
Organized groups in Mundo Acuatico Park offer some services; fish’s sale is one option, also you can rent a boat or kayak if you want to know the more remote places of the dam and watch birds and turtles.
