Zacahuilt is other of our typical dishes, it is from the region known as Huasteca and is a big tamal prepared with different kind of chilly and meat of chicken or pig in sheets of banana, it is baked for 12 hours inside the ground.
Don’t forget to drink atole made of sunflower seeds, atole from wild guava or atole de puzcua (corn), this one has to be drank with piloncillo.
